FAQ
NODE-1 is a truly modular EDC capsule system — a compact, watertight shell you can configure as storage, a lighter, or a screwdriver instead of being stuck with a single fixed function. It’s precision-machined so it feels more like a piece of gear than just a container.
NODE-1 is built around a metal capsule body in your choice of titanium or anodized aluminum, finished with a threaded brass cap and sealed by a silicone O-ring to keep everything tight and secure.
You can stash small essentials like matches, pills, cash, or tiny survival items directly in the capsule, or turn it into a bit carrier using the screwdriver module — there’s room for up to seven standard 1/4" bits inside.
At launch, NODE-1 supports three core use cases: a sealed storage capsule, an optional refillable brass lighter insert, and an optional screwdriver cap with a magnetic bit driver. You can also add an extension tube to increase capacity or build out multiple capsules for different roles.
Yes — NODE-1 uses a threaded interface with a silicone O-ring to create a watertight seal, helping keep your contents dry in everyday conditions like rain, splashes, or pocket carry outdoors. It’s designed as rugged EDC, not as a dedicated dive tool, so we don’t recommend extended deep-water use.
Go titanium if you want maximum durability, a premium feel, and the classic Pichi material choice; choose aluminum if you prefer a lighter capsule, color options, and a more budget-friendly way to run multiple NODE-1 setups at once.
